JFK Presidential Library & Museum

This project received an Emmy Award, recognition from D&AD, The One Show, the CLIO Awards, Art Directors Club, The Webby Awards and 11 Lions from the Cannes Lions Festival.

Clouds Over Cuba explored a docu-style cinema display of a what-if scenario on a major American historic event–The Cuban Missile Crisis.

Each piece of content was housed in a modern HTML5-driven format, taking advantage of new era technology complimented with wonderful live-action content shot specifically for this project supplimented by archival imagery, video, and documents.

For this project, I programmatically processed, encoded, filtered, transcoded, muxed, and prepared video content for inclusion using Bash and FFmpeg. Each piece was then programmatically deployed to Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 buckets and distributed via CloudFront (a global content delivery network [CDN]).
